This study presents RIMBA (Ruang Inovasi Media Belajar Atraktif), an innovative blended learning model designed to foster positive learning behaviors and enhance learning quality in elementary schools with limited digital resources. Conducted at SD Negeri 6 Bukit Tunggal, Palangka Raya, Indonesia, the research employed a qualitative case study design to explore the implementation and impact of RIMBA, which strategically integrates reusable, culturally infused "Smart Paper" with accessible digital tools (Wheel of Names, WordWall) and a gamified behavioral tracking system ("Jejak Si RIMBA"). Grounded in the principles of Deep Learning—Meaningful, Mindful, and Joyful Learning—the innovation directly addresses pervasive student boredom, inequitable participation due to limited device access, and the need for culturally relevant pedagogy. Over a ten-week implementation period, data collected through classroom observations, semi-structured interviews, document analysis, and behavioral assessments revealed significant improvements. Student engagement increased markedly, with previously passive learners actively participating and demonstrating greater confidence. Behavioral metrics, including cooperation, responsibility, and discipline, showed a 23% average improvement. Academic performance rose, and students developed a stronger connection to local Dayak culture through contextualized learning materials. The model’s success extended beyond the classroom, contributing to an improvement in the school’s official Education Report Card rating from "yellow" (moderate) to "green" (high) and inspiring peer teachers to adopt adapted versions of RIMBA. This study demonstrates that impactful, scalable educational innovation does not require advanced technology but rather a thoughtful, equity-centered design that harmonizes simple physical media, accessible digital platforms, and local cultural identity to create an inclusive, joyful, and meaningful learning environment.
